Zaragoza hosted the AEPIBAL Day 2024, the 3rd National Energy Storage Meeting, held on November 27th and 28th. It was organized by the Spanish Association for the Industrial Promotion of Batteries and Energy Storage (AEPIBAL). Ingenium’s management team participated in this event, reaffirming the company’s commitment to continuous training and updates. Their attendance allows the team to stay up to date with the latest developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the sector.
The meeting began with a networking dinner on November 27th, offering a relaxed space for exchanging ideas and establishing strategic alliances. The following day, activities took place at the Caja Rural de Aragón Foundation, in the heart of Zaragoza, further establishing the city as a reference point for the transition to a sustainable energy system.
Under the motto “Innovation, Storage, and a Sustainable Energy Future”, the event featured a comprehensive program to tackle current challenges and address critical topics and innovations in the sector. These ranged from the current regulatory framework and its European context to technical and market challenges, as well as industrial and business opportunities.
The event brought together industry specialists, representatives from public administration, and leading companies to analyze the present and future of energy storage in Spain and Europe. The presentations were led by high-level experts such as Luis Marquina (President of AEPIBAL) and Eugenio Domínguez (Vice President of AEPIBAL), among others.
